**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the social services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and services to our clients. **Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement social service care plans that meet the needs of our clients
- Oversee care plan development and evaluation to ensure effectiveness
- Provide guidance on behavioral health issues and working with people with developmental disabilities, geriatrics, substance use disorder, or a multitude of other clinical morbidities
- Conduct administrative duties related to social service operations
- Work with local ombudsman, hospitals, Aging service Access Points (ASAP)
- Oversee Social Service Quality Assurance programs
- Other duties assigned by Administrator
**Skills:**
- Nursing Home or Skilled Nursing Facility is strongly encouraged
- Background in social work with a focus on Care Plan management
- Excellent relationship management abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Proven experience in program development within a social services setting
- Knowledge of regulatory complaince
- Strong administrative skills to handle departmental tasks efficiently
